SHEATHE: Xenobiotic substances and heavy metals in the environment – a threat to health, ecosystems and development in Ghana
Prof. Matt Dodd, an environmental analytical chemist from the Royal Roads University in Canada on Wednesday 28th February, 2018 trained the SHEATHE PhD students together with some postgraduate and undergraduate students in the chemistry department on ProUCL statistical software.
ProUCL statistical software is a package for analyzing of environmental datasets with and without nondetect (ND) observations.
Ahead of this training Prof. Matt Dodd trained the PhD students on the usage of the XRF (X-ray Fluorescence) equipment to analyze their soil samples for heavy metals.
The training was aimed at equipping the PhD students on statistical analysis on their data.
